PROGRAMME EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEOs)

PEO 1:
To provide solid knowledge of Mathematics, Basic Sciences and Social Sciences in general and Electrical and Electronics Engineering in particular that imparts the necessary analytical, logical and designing skills. Graduates of the programme will have multi-disciplinary Knowledge and innovative skills to design and develop electrical & electronics products and systems.
PEO 2:
To produce socially committed individuals with effective communication skills and professional competence with an ethical acumen that enables them to pursue successful careers.
PEO 3:
To inculcate in the students, research aptitude in the different areas of Electrical and Electronics Engineering to identify, comprehend and solve problems and adapt themselves in a world of constantly evolving technology.

PROGRAM OUTCOMES (POs)

Engineering Graduates will be able to:
1.Engineering knowledge: Apply the knowledge of Mathematics, Science, Engineering fundamentals and Electrical and Electronics Engineering to the solution of complex problems in engineering.
2.Problem analysis: Identify, formulate and analyze the complex problems in Electrical and Electronics Engineering using first principles of mathematics, science and Engineering to derive conclusions.
3.Design/development of solutions: Design and development of Electrical and Electronics products/Systems that meets specified needs with the consideration for the public health and safety, cultural, societal and environmental issues.
4.Investigations of complex problems: Analysis of complex problems in electrical apparatus and energy systems using research based knowledge and research methods to provide valid solutions.
5.Modern tool usage: : Apply appropriate tools and techniques for the modeling and analysis of Electrical and Electronics devices and systems.
6.The engineer and society: Apply Knowledge gained to assess societal, safety and cultural issues relevant to the professional engineering practice.
7.Environment and Sustainability: Understand the impact of solutions in electrical engineering field in societal and environmental contexts and demonstrate the importance of sustainable development.
8.Ethics: Apply ethnical principles and professional responsibilities in electrical and electronics engineering practice.
9.Individual and team work: Ability to function as an individual and teams in the multidisciplinary environment.
10.Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with the engineering community and society on complex engineering activities.

    The IAENG Society of Electrical Engineering (ISEE) is organized for the engineers and the scholars in the electrical engineering discipline. Through regularly scheduled conferences and workshops on the electrical engineering, the IAENG Society of Electrical Engineering serves as a forum for networking, information sharing, idea exchange and problem solving for the electrical engineering community.

    Benefits

    The committee members of the IAENG Society of Electrical Engineering can voluntarily organize different activities for its Society members, and take part in organizing the IAENG conferences and workshops.

    The IAENG Society of Electrical Engineering has been taking part in the organizing of different IAENG conferences, for example, the IAENG International Conference on Electrical Engineering (ICEE).

    Electrical Engineering is one of the oldest branches from time immemorial. It is one of the fundamental branches of Science and Technology on which all other branches of engineering have evolved from. Electrical and Electronics Engineering work in a variety of fields including power sector, machine design, renewable energy sector, biomedical engineering, aerospace industry, communication industry and information technology. The department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering has intake of 60 students per year. It has well established laboratories and is manned qualified and dedicated faculty.
