Introduction

Civil- ABOUT IMAGE

Civil engineering is a Professional Engineering discipline that deals with design, construction, and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including works like roads, Bridges, Canals, Dams and Buildings. Civil engineering is the second oldest Engineering discipline after Military Engineering. It is traditionally broken into several sub- disciplines including Architectural, Environmental, Geotechnical, Structural, and Municipal, Transportation, Construction Management, Surveying, Water resource and Construction Engineering.

About Civil Engineering

The department has full-fledged laboratories with state of the art equipment and highly qualified faculties to guide students and train them to be fit for survival and competition in a global scenario. In addition to normal teaching schedules, we also arrange Guest lectures, Seminars and Industrial Visit to expose our Students to the current industrial needs, demands and procedures. We encourage our students to undertake rural development and Eco-friendly Programme to indicate in them a sense of ethical values and civic and social responsibilities.

Vision

To turnout a competent, disciplined, quality engineers and administrators to ensure a green sustainable socio-economic progress of the country.

Mission

  • To mould our students into knowledgeable skilled, disciplined and Qualified Civil Engineers, who can address today’s global challenges.
  • To expose our students to the cutting edge research of today and guide them to make significant contributions in the field.
  • To make them enlightened and socially conscious individuals
